Asus ProArt: New QD-OLED Monitors for Professionals
Asus unveiled three new monitors in the ProArt series on June 5, 2026, all utilizing QD-OLED technology and offering a 4K UHD resolution. These monitors are aimed at professional users who require the highest color accuracy and image quality. The models PA279CDV and PA329CDV feature a Delta E value of less than 1.5, ensuring excellent color accuracy. Both monitors are equipped with USB-C, supporting up to 96 watts of power, as well as two DisplayPort connections.
The third monitor, the PA32USD, offers additional features such as Thunderbolt 4 and 12G-SDI. This monitor boasts an even better Delta E value of under 1, making it particularly attractive for creative professionals who rely on utmost precision. All three monitors come with a variety of color modes, allowing users to switch between different color profiles. This is especially important for designers and photographers working across various media. The monitors also support HDR content, significantly enhancing image quality when displaying videos and images.
The QD-OLED technology provides deeper blacks and more vibrant colors, optimizing the overall visual experience. Asus has placed a strong emphasis on ergonomics in the development of these monitors. The models are height-adjustable and offer tilt and swivel functions to meet individual user needs. The new ProArt monitors are now available, although Asus has not yet announced official prices for the individual models.
The market launch will occur in several regions, with availability varying by market. Asus's ProArt series has already established a reputation, particularly among graphic designers and video producers. The new models are expected to continue this tradition and meet the demands of professional image editing. Asus has announced that the monitors will also come with specialized color calibration software, allowing users to further optimize color accuracy. This software is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2026. The technical specifications of the new monitors are promising and could redefine industry standards for professional displays. The combination of QD-OLED technology and high color accuracy could be a decisive purchasing criterion for many creatives.
