Those opting for an annual subscription will pay 149.99 euros, which also represents a 20 euro increase from the previous price of 129.99 euros.
The annual subscription offers a 15 percent price advantage over the monthly subscription; however, it does not include a free trial month. The family subscription for up to six users now costs 27.99 euros per month, which is an increase of four euros. This subscription includes a free trial month. The subscription holder can add up to five family members aged 13 and older living in the same household. Google does not offer an annual subscription for families.
For students, the price rises to 8.99 euros per month, which is an increase of 1.50 euros. A free trial month is also available here. An annual subscription for students is not available either. The cheaper alternative, Premium Lite, is also becoming more expensive. Users will now have to pay 7.99 euros, which is a price increase of 1.50 euros.
Premium Lite largely offers an ad-free experience in YouTube videos, except for music videos and Shorts.
