Google Introduces Seven New Features for Android Users

Another highlight is the ability to create custom soundtracks with Google Gemini. Users can specify a genre and a theme, and the AI will generate a new song. This feature is provided through Lyria, Google's AI music generator, offering a creative way to musically enhance personal experiences. Image editing in Google Gemini has also received an update. The new version is based on the AI model Nano Banana 2, which allows users to create, edit, and combine images.

This powerful model is considered particularly fast and reliable, facilitating the creation of new content. Another new feature pertains to Google Photos, where users can now create highlight videos from their memories. This function uses AI to automatically select the best moments from a collection of images and compile them into an engaging video. This aims to simplify memory management for users. There are also updates in the Gmail app.

A new tab for promotions has been added, allowing users to specifically search for deals and promotions. This feature could enhance the user experience by providing a better overview of relevant offers. The AI search can now be added directly to the home screen, making access to this feature easier. Users can thus quickly access AI-powered search options without having to navigate through menus. This feature could increase efficiency when using Android devices.
